If you were to list all the attributes you could possibly want in a skilled contractor, one name would appear, and that is Matt Griffin.  Words fail to adequately convey Matt's professionalism, skill, talent, and work ethic.  Matt recently installed porcelain tile flooring in our kitchen, back foyer including an enclosed area for the washer/dryer, and an adjoining half bath.  Matt was meticulous in every aspect of the job from demolition to final installation, with the smallest detail given his scrupulous attention.  We cannot sufficiently praise Matt for his attention to detail and for making the entire process remarkably undisruptive.  It is refreshing to find such a skilled and knowledgeable craftsman who takes great pride in his work.  I would be remiss in not adding that Matt is a kind and respectful young man in whom we placed our full trust and, in turn, he exceeded all expectations.  He is the real deal.  We love our new floor, and we look forward to hiring Matt for future tiling projects.   We cannot sing his praises enough and highly recommend Matt to others. We recently engaged Griffin Tile to replace the entryway tile for our condominium building.   Matt did a wonderful job.   The work was excellent, and completed under the estimated time. I really appreciated Matt's attention to detail leading up to the project. He asked plenty of clarifying questions and even helped me select the right materials.

When it came time to install my Zellige tile backsplash, he ensured we had tight spacing and that it looked right. He even gave me a couple pointers on how to take care of the tile and grout.

We hired Griffin Tile and Stone for a kitchen backsplash and laundry room flooring, and couldn’t be happier with the results. Matt, the owner/operator, did both jobs himself and the craftsmanship shows.

What really stood out was how patient he was with us… we went back and forth on grout choices more than once, and he never made us feel rushed, offering helpful input that steered us toward selections we ended up loving. He showed up on time every day, was respectful of our home, and cleaned up thoroughly after each visit. He also kept us in the loop throughout the project and was quick to respond whenever we had questions about timelines.

Griffin Tile & Stone did a fantastic job replacing our kitchen floor, which had been incorrectly installed during a renovation. It was cracking, uneven and had a big dip on one side due to structural issues. It now looks better than I had even imagined. We used Griffin Tile and Stone for a second job: a remodel of our bathroom. This took about two weeks and the result was better than perfect! Matt is a pleasure to work with and has incredible knowledge not just about tile & stone work but also, plumbing and carpentry. He is very meticulous, extremely organized and honest. He takes the time needed to review details with customers, which makes decisions easier. He keeps the customer informed every step of the way and "goes the extra mile to make it beyond perfect". He always shows up on time and cleans up everything at the end of each day. I wish every contractor had Matt's attitude and character. Next project will be my entrance hallway.
